Grounds maintenance

Commercial Grounds Maintenance in Hampshire

Scheduled grass, hedges, borders and tidy-ups for apartment blocks, estates and business premises. We survey the site, agree the specification, and send a team to carry out the work.

Who it’s for

Managed grounds, kept on a round.

For sites that need the grounds kept to an agreed standard on a set schedule.

Managing agents

One contractor for the grass, hedges and borders. The price is agreed before work starts, and a team attends on the scheduled visits.

Apartment blocks

Communal lawns, boundary hedges, paths and entrance beds, cut, edged and cleared so the grounds stay presentable.

Estates & larger gardens

Larger private grounds maintained on a planned schedule, covering lawns, long hedges and beds.

Business premises

Frontages, car parks and side beds for offices, yards and other commercial sites that need to look tidy when people arrive.

Care homes & managed sites

Grounds around homes and similar managed buildings, kept safe underfoot and presentable, with the work fitted around the people who live and work there.

What we maintain

The work that keeps a site in hand.

Grass cutting & lawn care

Regular mowing and edging. Clippings taken. The grass left tighter than we found it, on a weekly or fortnightly round through the growing season.

Hedges

Cutting, shaping and reductions. Conifer, leylandii, privet, laurel, beech and the rest. Overgrown boundaries brought back, with the waste taken away. Hedge cutting in detail

Weeds & borders

Beds and path edges weeded, then mulched where that’s the right finish. Less bare soil, fewer weeds coming back through the season.

Seasonal tidy-ups

Pruning, leaf clearance and a proper end-of-season clear so the site doesn’t sit under a winter’s worth of debris.

Why a schedule

The same standard, every visit.

A scheduled round keeps grass, hedges and beds under control through the year. The team attends to the specification agreed at survey and leaves the site in order.

Maintenance is priced after we have walked the site. That figure is the price. If a site sits outside the work we take on, we will say so before anything is agreed.

On the ground

Frontages, before and after.

Hedges and beds cut back on commercial frontages so the building reads clearly. Both pairs are from our own jobs.

Before Overgrown ivy and a tangled bed at a commercial frontage in Havant before cutting
After The same Havant frontage after the ivy and overgrown bed were cut back
Before An overgrown hedge in front of a commercial billboard before it was cut back
After The same hedge cut down in front of the billboard
How it starts

Visit, price, then a round.

Site visit

We come and walk the grounds with you. Grass area, hedge length, access, where the waste can go, and anything that has to be left alone. Quotes are free, and we usually get out within a few days.

Quotation

You get a fixed price for the visit or the season’s round. What moves it is the size of the site, how far it has got away, access, and whether we take the waste. That figure is what you pay.

Scheduled maintenance

Grass on a weekly or fortnightly programme through the growing season. Hedges cut as specified. Leaf clearance and a fuller tidy at the end of the season. A team attends each scheduled visit.

Where we work

Hayling Island, and across the water.

We’re based on Hayling Island. Havant and Emsworth are a short run over the bridge. Waterlooville and Portsmouth are within the area we already cover for hedge and lawn work, along with Bedhampton, Cosham, Purbrook, Drayton and Farlington.

If the site is a bit further into Hampshire, ring us. We’ll tell you straight whether we can take it on.
